Our Pub of the Year for 2026 POTY was Cafe Beermoth.

The 2026 Cider POTY was Marble Arch.

Both the 2026 pubs were entered into the Regional 2026 competitions but were unsuccessful in that competition.

Often come across an old Good Beer Guide and wondered what happened to a pub whose name you don't recognise? Well this document might be of assistance. It details what happened to the pub, and if it still a pub what the current name is.

GBG Old Pubs

Pubs in the GBG from 1972 within the Branch area. These pubs would have been selected by the 3 original CAMRA Branches (North Manchester, Stockport and South Manchester and Trafford and Hulme) that used to have responsibility for CAMRA business within the City Centre. In 2016 a new Branch was formed - Central Manchester - that now has that responsibility.
